1. Article 2 and 3 deal with the establishment of new states.
2. States Reorganization committee was appointed in 1953.
3. Fazal Ali was the chairman of the state reorganization committee.
4. States Reorgenization committee sabmitted its report in 1955.
5. Fazal Ali, Hriday Nath Kunzru and K.N.Panikkar were the members of the state reorganization committee.
6. S.K.Dhar commission was appointed by the constituent Assembly on the issue of reorganization of states in November 1947.
7. JVP commission was appointed by the congress in its Jaipur session in 1948 to consider the recommedations of the Dhar commission.
8. The state of Jarkhand was formed in 2000.
9. The state of Chatisgarh was formed in 2000.
10. The state of Arunachal Pradesh was formed in 1986.
11. The state of Sikkim was formed in 1975.
