The ruler of Bengal was defeated in the hands of Sher Khan in 1534 and 1536.
Sher Khan also became master of whole Bihar.
Humayun decided to fight with Sher Khan in 1537 and seized the fort of Chunar under Sher Khan.
The seize lasted for six months.
Humayun was able to capture the fort by trick.
Though the capture of Chunar was a great military achievement, it was no use for Humayun. He wasted valuable time for nothing.
