Mewar on the eve of Babar
Mewar was a strong Rajput state on the eve of invasion of Babur on India.
At that time it was ruled by Rana Sangrama Singh known as Rana Sanga.
Chittor was the capital of Mewar.
Rana Sanga was a great warrior. He was the head of Rajputs.
The rulers of Malwa, Bhilsa, Ranthambore, Chanderi, Sarangpur, Ambar, Gwalior, Sikri, Raisin, Ajmer, Kalpi, Boondi, Abu and Rampur aknowledged Rana Sanga as their overlord.
He aimed to capture Delhi and Agra.
He thought that if Babur invade on India he would plunder it and go back to Kabul and then it was easy for him to realize his ambition.
Hence Rana Sanga invited Babur to attack India.
