Ghaznavid Dynasty

Alaptagin was the founder of Ghaznavid Dynasty in 962 A.D.

It was also known as Yamini Dynasty.

Ghazni was the capital of Yamini Dynasty.

Alaptagin was succeeded by his son Subuktagin in 977 A.D.

Subuktagin strengthened Ghazni Kingdom and extended it entire Afghanistan including some parts of Persian territories.

Subuktagin was died in 997 A.D. He ruled for a period of 20 years.

Subuktagin was succeeded by his son Abdul Quasim Muhammad, popularly known as Ghazni Muhammad.
