Aravidu Dynasty
After of the Tallikota War Tirumalaraya and Sadasivaraya fled to Penukonda. Tirumalaraya who belonged to Aravidu dynasty set aside Sadasivaraya and started ruling on his own name from 1570 A.D. He was the first king of Vijayanagara Empire from Aravidu dynasty. He reestablished Vijayanagara rule in Penukonda. Venkata II who became king in 1586 was the prominent ruler among the rulers of Aravidu dynasty. Sriranga III was the last ruler of Aravidu dynasty.
